April Open Submissions
The latest open submission opportunities, Wednesday Writers' Workshop, and Poetry Month events for Spring Immersion
Hey writers! Let’s get more poems out into the world.
First, here's a Wednesday Writers’ Workshop update. This April, we’re leaning into the spirit of National Poetry Month with weekly explorations of different poetic forms, plus prompts, discussion, and all the creative accountability you’ve come to expect. Whether you’re just getting back into a writing rhythm or finishing a manuscript, this is a supportive, flexible space for us all to grow together.

Each session includes time for writing, feedback (optional), and community connection. Let’s build those poems together!
Bonus! Poetry & Planting Spring Immersion Workshop
I'm also co-hosting a special Poetry and Planting Spring Immersion at Kensington Library on Tuesday, April 8 and April 22. These are free, hands-on workshops combining poetry writing and seasonal planting—perfect for grounding your creativity as we welcome spring.
